Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a splash of olive oil. Once shimmering, add the alheira sausages. Cook, turning occasionally, until the sausages are golden brown on all sides and heated through.

Remove the sausages from the skillet and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil. Meanwhile, prepare a pot of boiling water for the vegetables.

Boil the vegetables until tender, about 7 minutes. Drain and season with a bit of olive oil and salt.
